The Collaborative is a unified front of organizations, educators, healthcare providers, and advocates. We work together to pool our knowledge and impact, ensuring a stronger voice for the autism community in our region.
From Collaboration to Community Impact
Collaboration is the engine; community impact is the destination. By working in tandem, we reduce service overlap and identify unaddressed needs, leading to measurable improvements in the quality of life for neurodivergent residents.
Proposed Areas of Focus
Our target areas include streamlining the evaluation process, enhancing vocational training, providing robust IEP advocacy training for parents, and increasing local capacity for behavioral health services.
Community-Level Data
Effective advocacy is rooted in evidence. We collect and analyze community-level data to identify trends, pinpoint geographic areas with high need, and quantify the current service gap in Southern New Mexico.
